  9. Words from Wilma:
I loved working with these clients. They had custom made drapes from a previous home that they wanted me to use. When I came to their home, they had done some amazing renovations and selected fantastic finishes. I loved the custom drapes, but needed a way to combine the drapes with all the other window treatment in the open concept Family Room and Kitchen. The windows were all at different heights as well, I always love the challenge of finding the perfect solutions, to make it look like it was meant to be. We found a great fabric and hardware that combined the old drapes, and made everything look new again. Colour Blocking on the tops of the drapes, a roman faux valance, a bench seat & cushions, and a valance over the door were the perfect choices.
Black stone tiles on the fireplace were the inspiration for the black in the Dining Room and cushions in the Family Room & Kitchen because “every room needs a little black”. HunterDouglas Duette Shades provide light control and privacy when needed, and the remote control is so convenient for getting into the awkward spots. Gorgeous edge banding for the Dining Room Roman Valances gives an element of classic design, in a colour that matches the Living Room.
