It was such a pleasure to connect with Debbie and Michael to provide Sensational Solutions for their windows.
When we connected, they were mid renovations on their main living space and so it was neat to see the project come to fruition as the time passed.
When I met with Michael and Debbie, they shared their vision for the windows after the renovation, and we worked with them through the entire process.
During our meeting, I learned that Michael is a contractor handling all the renovation work in their home himself. I was honoured to be trusted with this part of their project.
In the Living Room they had a difficult corner window with a fireplace in it, where the windows were butting up to one another at the corner. They also needed a heat resistant solution here.
For the Kitchen, they wanted something clean line with the ability to see outside but maintain privacy, while maximizing the amount of natural light coming into the room.
Automated shades with a hand-held remote control is the ultimate in convenience and a perfect solution for this corner!
Initially, they thought the remote shades seemed unnecessary, but now they’re one of Michael and Debbie’s favourite features. They no longer have to climb around the fireplace to adjust them. They can control the light and privacy with the touch of a button or voice command.
The kitchen features a beautifully wide window where we were able to cover the expanse of the window with one single Silhouette shade from Hunter Douglas. This shade is automated and can be controlled using the same remote as the living room.
Whats nice about selecting an automated shade in the kitchen is the ability to use voice commands to control the shade so it can move hands-free to eliminate messes from reaching your shades
I’m thrilled by the transformation of this space! It was incredible to see the empty room before the renovations evolve into the beautifully completed home it is now.
I had so much fun working with Michael and Debbie in transforming their space. It’s always an honour to be called back into the homes of our clients and so exciting to be remembered after so many years!
Thank you for trusting the next generation of Sensational SEAMS with your newly refreshed home!
