We had worked with Paulo and Helena last year, providing shades for privacy in their ensuite, and they wanted to continue the vision we had for their window treatments in their bedroom.
Paulo and Helena already had drapes in their bedroom, but there was too much light coming in.
The treatment on the doors did not even cover the door and the transom above was wide open.
They needed something that would provide more light control in the room and since there were seven openings, something that would be easy to open and close when needed, but did not block their gorgeous country view.
The ensuite was beautiful as well, but provided zero privacy and way too much glare. They dreamed of window treatments that would accomplish both of their desires for light and privacy.
They loved what we had previously installed in their ensuite, HunterDouglas Pirouette Shades on a remote control as it was difficult to get in behind the tub. They provided privacy when needed, and controlled the glare coming into the room.
Helena also loved the existing drapery, but the sheers offered zero light control. The Pirouette Shades offered a beautiful view still as well as glare and light control. The previous door treatments were redesigned into a stationary roman valance.
The addition of silver Czech Crystals resembles diamonds in appearance and are the star of the treatment.
Now the Pirouette Shades are the operable part of the treatment, so a simple touch of the button opens and closes the shades on the door, as well as the transom window above. They now have opportunity for a room dimming atmosphere or full open view.
Elevating someone’s home gives us great pleasure and a welcoming challenge. When there are so many elements in the home that reflect such great choices and style of decorating which Helena had already made, it’s our job to take it to the next level.
Suggesting details of superior design like the Czech Crystals and HunterDouglas Pirouette Shades with Automation does exactly that.
Paulo loves the conveniences of home automation since that is what he used to do at his previous job – programming robots.
Helena loves the “Bling” and that is captured in her choice of Metallic Pirouette fabric selection. She was not interested in just any beaded trim or tassel fringe, but the Czech Crystals spoke to her for all the razzle-dazzle they offered.
They were both so excited with the end results, everything working and sparkling exactly how they dreamed of.
They are so accommodating and such a pleasure to work with – we can’t wait to continue elevating their home in the years to come, adding Sensational Touches to the rest of their windows.
