Heather saw us at the Newcastle Harvest Festival indicating she was opening a spa in Newcastle and needed help with window treatments and design ideas.
Heather mentioned “…I saw the really nice purple van titled Sensational SEAMS and a-ha! that is exactly what we need, a sensational spark added to our windows!”
The previous “A Gift of Art” location was undergoing renovations to change it into a spa. We were delighted to be selected to help her create a space that had the look and feel of crisp and clean spaces with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The Entrance of this old renovated farmhouse features a fresh white fabric with Velvet Tassel Fringe that adds bit of “class and bling” as you walk into the Newcastle Spa & Wellness Centre.
The Relaxed Roman Shade Valances still allow light into the space while adding a touch of comfort and relaxation.
A gorgeous lavender paint colour on the wall (you all know Wilma loves purple…lol) dictated a fabric that also had a bit of flare to it.
Tamara sought out this fabric with a gold and silver metallic thread with texture. We selected the Modern Euro-Pleat Style Heading for the Closing Drapery so the room allows for privacy when needed, and lots of light as an option.
The Antique Silver Decorative Rods also featured Crystal Finials as Heather loves the “Bling” and wanted her room to feel dressed up, warm and elegant.
The Soft Drapery & Shades add a Professional & Elegant Atmosphere.
The textured drapery fabric has a beautiful wave stitch that looks very spa-like, in a fresh white colour.
HunterDouglas Nantucket Shades will be the operable part of this treatment, giving privacy when needed, and diffusing the light, giving soft, ambiance to the room for a warm and comfortable experience.
This room featured lots of windows and doors at the front of the building and Heather felt it was a little too industrial-like in the room. She still wanted something pretty but definitely nothing that blocked the view and light coming into the room.
Tamara recommended the Relaxed Roman Shade Valances as the perfect solution.
The same fresh spa-like fabric that was used in the entrance is repeated here in the classroom, but the beaded fringe and tassel trim accent on the bottom is the jewelry that makes this treatment, pulling together the branding colours of Newcastle Spa & Wellness Centre.
The beads and fringe trim add a design element, yet still feels professional.
The window treatments gives a sense of a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere – togetherness for people as they come into the room that will be used for a multitude of purposes.
Come and experience Newcastle’s only Salt Cave – you’ll just have to come see and experience it for yourself
Heather has been such a pleasure to work with. We are excited for Newcastle to have such a special place for a Spa & Wellness Centre, and can’t wait to experience the Salt Cave.
We loved how we could collaborate ideas and laugh and have fun while doing the work we love. As the grand opening is November 29, there are still things to be completed and are a work in progress on this great old farmhouse.
We can’t wait to draw the name of one lucky winner to be treated to a massage from Heather, and be welcomed into the serenity and calmness of a peaceful getaway.
Much success in your new venture and business Heather and team!
